Want more Canva?  This hands-on class is designed to help real estate professionals create clean, modern, effective marketing graphics using Canva. Staring with a brief review of basic Canva skills, Katie will dive into key layout tools such as frames, grids, spacing, and positioning to build polished designs that highlight a property's features.  Emphasis placed on improving visual flow, readability and focus--ensuring important details like price, features, and calls-to-action stand out while avoiding common mistakes such as stretched or misaligned photos. This class also walks through building the three core real estate graphics every agent needs: Just Listed/Just Sold posts, Open House graphics and educational or value-based posts. Katie wraps up with time-saving Canva tips, best practices for exporting files and using transparent backgrounds. By the end of this class, you will feel confident creating your own marketing pieces.  Instructor: Katie Ord; 1-hour c.e. requested.  Lunchtime Success with lunch/networking at 11:30; class begins at 12:00 noon promptly.  Students encouraged to bring laptops, tablets, etc. Please email tcovell@akronclevelandrealtors.com with dietary restrictions.

Katie Ord is a Tech Trainer and Marketing Specialist with a decade of experience in sales and digital marketing.  She brings a strong background in social media strategy, content creation, and branding.  She is certified in Facebook Ads and Search Engine Optimization.  Katie has a proven track record of driving growth, including increasing a brand's social media presence by of 200% in less than two months and generating more than $4 million in sales during her time in a prior company.


In real estate, Katie supports real estate agents and administrative staff of all experience levels, helping them simplify technology, strengthen their online presence, and create clean, modern, high-impact marketing assets.  Her teaching style is approachable, practical and focused on helping real estate professionals confidently use digital tools to elevate their business.

Katie earned a BA in Marketing with a minor Spanish from Washington State University.
